"Official" Jubliee apron for Farmgirl giveaway.

Mailing MJF Postcards to farmgirls and other friends to celebrate.

Celebrating at "Gigi's Cupcakes" in Scottsdale, AZ.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Celebrating in this rural community where I grew up on a farm in the manner most possible for me. I hung aprons inside and outside, talked to friends and neighbors about them and why they were hanging all about.
Friends stopped by, we also visited over the fence, literally, beside the road and with our small church fellowship group over a meal(this included our own farmgirl sister, "Calicogirl" . . . Sharon).

My banner, which hung in a prominent place in the house, with my Jubilee mini-gardens, one with a fairy and the other with a gnome

Vintage apron outside the door to greet visitors

On the mailbox

At the end of the driveway on a post and an old gate that my dad made

On an antique bed headboard and footboard that I "planted" as a decorative fence years ago. It came from our farm

On the quilt rack, over some antique quilts. This actually sits in our living room.

Between the door and the refrigerator. Many visitors have looked them over and enjoyed my aprons, including my "Certified Farmgirl" apron

Hanging on a doorknob

Hanging on the dining chair

My necklace . . in the wearing!

It was a blessing to share and celebrate this Jubilee here in my little farmgirl corner of the world . . . barefeet and all!

Thanks Teresa! Those were from last year's Jubilee. When I was out hanging them on the fence then, my neighbor (different neighbor than the one I talked to today) from across the road saw me and asked me what I was doing. So, I explained!

Just today, 02/15/16, I was visiting my neighbor and we got to talking about aprons. She said last year she saw my aprons all hanging along the fence and asked me what that was about. So I told her!

Amy,
I started making aprons to sell at Farmers Market about 5 years ago . . . it exploded into a very successful enterprise and I've made and sold HUNDREDS of them, several styles, including for guys and children. However, I've had to take a break, last year was our first year in several that we haven't done Farmers Market and a ba-zillion craft fairs/bazaars. I still make them but generally just orders from customers who have bought aprons from me in the past. I've been collecting them for about the same length of time.

I see that the charm is no longer available in the MJF store . . hmmmm.
I suggest sending an email to Brian at the farm and ask him, he's kinda the one who takes care of orders and he is very helpful.
His email is: brianogle@maryjanesfarm.org

Thanks for your kind comments!

Hi CJ, I'm just awestruck by how creative you are. What an inspiration! How long have you been collecting aprons? How long have you been making them?

Do you know if the charms are still available? I looked for one in the MJF store online last night and didn't see them.

I am so impressed with the number of aprons you have, and they all look nice. I have several but they have rips, patches, snags and....perhaps I need to make a new one. I made a pattern the other day. I just need to get busy.

Bonnie,
Thanks for your kind compliments! I've made and sold HUNDREDS of aprons and have been complimented by many on being a creative "fabric artist". I'm not making too many right now . . .needed a break!
I didn't make all of those pictured . . . a couple are vintage, a couple were gifts.
Thanks again!
