The Cotton Pickin' farmgirls chapter in Hillsboro, TX is revived and looking for new members... The next meeting is September 2nd, at 10 am at the Starbucks on I-35 in Hillsboro. Email me (Erin Smith) at erinosmith@hotmail.com if you are interested in joining us. We'll be talking about what we would like to get out of the chapter and what activities we'd like to do...

We are taking members from all over TX - from far north Texas up near McKinney and Farmersville, down to Temple, Austin and the like. Right now we are talking about having meetings that combine an online feature so that folks can participate online if they cannot come to the meeting in person. We're also planning field trips to the different areas so that everyone can participate at some point. Oh man, I mapquested Hillsboro and it is about 250 miles from Newton. That's a little to far to drive.
