I know there are a few of us here. Shall we gather and have a virtual chapter?

Well, I dipped out in 2017 for many and assorted reasons, including a job that kept me busy and then we moved and pandemic and family stuff and the upheaval was too much. I've still been getting the magazines but finally decided to sorta slide back in here and see what was up. Still having farmgirl dreams but health stuff (like no cartilage in my knees) and ....well, everything....make that seem completely impossible. But whatever, I can still dream. So....hi again...?

Oh jeez. I just saw this reply. Last week I took all my old deck to my local metaphysical shop to resale. I found out that my fave deck's creator is actually LOCAL!!! There is a rare first edition of her tarot, Nature Spirit Tarot by Jean Marie Herzell, waiting for me at the shop!!!

HEY EVERYBODY:

Does anyone ever pay for readings? I never have and wonder about it.

Have you ever put moon water in a smoothie? lol

Blessed Be to all. Just wanted to stop in, say hi and to let you know I am still here.
Just been struggling with medical issues since last November, so I have not felt good enough for much. Just getting off a week of bed rest:-( Talk about being bored, hopefully I will feel better soon.
Take care all.

Hugs,

Well, blow me down! I've been on this forum for a while and had completely missed this thread! How awesome! I'll be browsing the older posts for sure!

I'm not pagan, not anything really. I'm pretty gun shy of religion in general due to childhood experiences in a cult that claims to be Christian. I just try to not judge others choices in matters of faith - unless they are harming others - i.e. extremists.

I'm glad to see this group on here!

Merry meet, Sisters! I can't even express how happy I am that this group exists. I'm new to the forums and the Farmgirl Sisterhood, and just stumbled across you. I'm an eclectic witch of 15 years, and the somewhat reluctant priestess and teacher of a small local coven. My wife and I are slowly turning our little piece of property into our dream homestead, which we've lovingly dubbed "Pagan Acres". I can't wait to get to know everyone here.

Has anyone heard of Witchy Way Magazine? I discovered it a few months ago, and am impressed with it. They have some great video sessions too. I still have my paper copies of Witche's & Pagans and Sage Women. But this is a nice addition

Sure, jump on in here. This section tends to be a little quiet, for whatever reason. Aren't that many of us. :-) But you're welcome and then some.

Blessed be Sisters! I am a new member to the FG Sisterhood (about a month now) and I have been a Solitary member of the Fellowship of Isis since 2001. I worship the Egyptian Pantheon of deities. I would love to ask if I could be invited to join the this virtual chapter to be with like-minded Sisters and Pagans. I was so joyous to find this topic.

You know you would think I would have been scared but survival kicked in and I had a one minded goal to get back to my car. Ranger was a Doberman Shepherd and Cody was a 130lb Lab, Golden Ret. Newfoundland and all black. When you are faced with a situation like that primitive instincts take over and you do what you have to do. Two of The helpers were shirtless hotties out looking for a rock climbing place. One was on each side and hauled me out. Ranger and Cody following close behind.

Nancy that is scary, so glad some help came along. That is why I am hesitant about hiking alone. Okay ladies, I believe dancing from the seated position is in order. #128513;
NAGarcia Posted - Apr 13 2017 : 5:16:22 PM
Not a lot of dancing here, due to bad knees. Wish I could. As for out - I thankfully haven't had any issues, as I'm out and fairly open about it all. The no issues could be many reasons, even here in UT, up to and including my gothy look. I think I intimidate people, which is weird to me, but whatevs. 75 here today and windy - happy spring!

Oh my goodness, Nancy - how scary! Good thing your furry companions were with you. I have weak ankles and have twisted them on more hiking trails then I would like to admit, but fortunately have never done it without another person with me. I am not very easy to offend, so it has become a bit of a joke in our family when we come to very uneven places in trails or lots of loose rock - "Randi/mom, the trail is a bit hazardous, please don't twist an ankle. We don't want to have to carry you back to the Jeep". =)

A little explanation: my clumsiness has caused me several trips to the ER. I love having fun but have issues with safety rules and looking where I am going. Last big trip I was hiking alone with my dogs and fell down a small cliff and broke my tibia below my knee. Had to crawl out of the woods on my hands and knees flanked by my two bestest friends. Some other hikers came along and offered help. That night I came home from the ER with a 40 ton hot pink cast from my foot all the way up my leg.

Just hand me a tamborine or rhythm bones and me and my health insurance provider will be happy.

Isn't it grand! My Granny had an herb garden like that. She never admitted to me during her life but I believe she followed a different path. She had a remedy for everything.

Thanks for the support Nancy and Randi. Oh and Nancy, dancing under the full moon is an incrediby open, dancing technique is not judged. And to quote a much loved movie, "clothing is purely optional, as you well remember #128512;"-Practical magic

One of the many reasons I want to move to rural Maine, from Massachusetts is to have more space and no nosey neighbors. Outdoor ritual and dancing!
