OK,, we all have been trying to live a normal life in these un-normal times...
I may be a bit to old to go Trick-o-treating... but I am not to old to OD on Chocolates....
Hubby and I both have eye doctor appointments Tuesday and Wednesday,, so I decided I would make myself a costumn...
Am I normal?

I made a Holloweenie mask and machine embroidered a pumpkin on one side and the words 'Happy Boo fest" on the other side.
Who knows,, maybe at the Eye Doctors office they will have candy!!!

I used my flash on the 2nd photo so it sort of washed out.. oh well..

Funny- I am looking to see if I can make a “Thanksgiving/Fall” one too! I have a scrap somewhere from my Thanksgiving apron I made a few years back. Love your embroidery! Did I ever send you the photo of the one you made Audrey for graduation all framed? We got it back and it looks amazing! Now I think I will do the same for Pip’s. I haven’t decided yet on that or a pillow. You are sew talented!

Nicole,,, I luv going through my fabric scraps to make my masks.. I and going through my 'Browns' (autumn) colors,, trying to find the perfect Turkey Day print.. but alas,, nothing.. sew,, I just might have to machine embroider a sweet Thanksgiving theme on a mask..

" Glad I'm Greetin' and not being Eatin' "
I have a small turkey motif to use if I can figure out how to get all the fonts on my mask.....

Grace...you and I are so alike! I made myself a Halloween “mask” to wear the month of October, from a fabric with vintage-print Ellen Clapsaddle Halloween postcards! I love that fabric and had made pillows and an apron, and had enough to make a mask. Love yours, too!

Your mask is adorable! I guarantee everyone at the eye doctors will love it! It’s so nice to see the fun and positivity in these times and I can only imagine how much it means to those doctors when someone makes their day with silly masks! Have fun wearing your new mask! And enjoy all the candy too lol!

Love the mask! I think we have to celebrate the holidays this year just anyway we can. Be creative. I'm
going to dress up on Halloween just because even though I probably won't leave the house. Create your own fun!

Grace---I think you are normal with a creative twist. I think it is great to stand out in the crowd a little bit and take the time to be different. I have a magnet on my fridge that says---Normal People Scare Me ---and they do. I find that I am a goat---not a sheep--- just doing things because other people do. You go girl. Abnormal rules in my world---go and light up the world and be special. I think I am just weird---whatever!.

Grace, your Boofest masks are adorable and the staff at the doctor offices are going to love it!! You could also make up a little box of candies to give to the office staff to leave in the break room to enjoy. Of course be sure to buy the kind of candy you like so that you get your fair share!! LOL!!! When I was working as a nurse, we loved it when patient families would leave goodies for the staff to enjoy when on break. Girl, we had it good from Halloween through Christmas!! LOIL!!
