Hello fellow Sisters! We have a bit of a delayed sign-up period for our July Mail Art, but I hope you are all still as excited to participate as I am! July is my birthday month and I'd love to take some time to send out some love and light via Mail Art--so count me in!

If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art to read our guidelines.

FOR JULY Mail Art, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to join in. Sign-up is available through JUNE 30th. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.

This month's topic is going to be Still We Rise like the peonies here at the farm. As always, if you fancy something else for the theme, please feel free to do your own thing.

I will send an email with your partner to you on JUNE 30th. Please send your Mail Art before JULY 31st. And be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination.

I'd like to request that everyone post a comment on this thread once you receive your mail art to let your sender know you've received their art. If you can add a picture, that's always nice too!

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to send me an email. I'm always happy to help out in any way I can.

Happy Arting and warmest farmgal wishes,

~Cydnie

The inspiration finally came this morning as I woke to a beautiful sunrise as to how to capture the beauty of your art in a photograph. Thank you so much. It is perfect. I think I will display it in my classroom for my students. The sentiment is something I think they may need reminding of on occasion as well as myself.
Thank you again.

Jill, what a lovely Mail Art, I'm so thrilled. Thank you for your kindness and sending such a lovely package and card for my birthday/mail art, I truly appreciate it. Some of my favorite flowers are lupines, especially when you see giant fields of them--it's magical! I've placed the sweet hanging decorations around my plants and it really livens up the place. <3

After a little issue with my apt complex's mailboxes and not checking my mail for a bit... I was touched to find such a thoughtful package from Dianna.

Thank you for your mail art--I adore all of it. The card was beautiful with the dried flowers and your elegant handwriting. I'm excited to try the treats, I've hung the lovely welcoming sign in my living room, and I can always use more magnets! I like that they match the sign so well, those colors are among my favorites. Thanks for your mail art and birthday gift Dianna, I deeply appreciate it!

I’ve been to New England several times, I love it there. But I never made it to Maine.

Jill, I read a lot of books about the Appalachian trail. Must also be right by you. That’s a great spot to live.

Jill -- I have a great mail art gal pal who lives in Presque Isle. How close is that to you? She is not a farmsister (yet) but a great gal recently widowed. Maybe I can get you two in contact with each other. We are luchy too here in northern Idaho. We hang out on our little farm and go as little as possible to keep our necessaries stocked. A few cases in the county but so far no major outbreak. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Anyone interested in doing a facemask swap? I am a newbie, but with a little guidance as far as swap rules are concerned, I would be happy to host it if anyone wants to do it.

Dianna -- Just finished your Found Word Art postcard, and I am so tickled with how it turned out. Got the label made and need to finish up one other little enclosure then will get it mailed off . . . tomorrow maybe, Monday for sure.

Farmsister, our mail here in county Alabama has been so slow. What usually took a week from Afghanistan has now taken over 3 weeks to receive a card. A box was sent to him on the 10th of July. Still no box for him. It's so wacky here with covid they have now, 3 days from the start of school, revamped classes and guidelines for the third time in 4 weeks. Jill, I am INCREDIBLY envious of where you live but in the kindest way! Some day I'd love to get out your way to visit and sight see.
April I pray Vin is well and strong from his wisdom teeth appointment and STILL PLAN on driving to see my son and grand daughter and looking so forward to a pleasant short stay with you all, when its safe!!

I hope you BOTH get your art soon. :)

I live 45 miles from th Canadian boarder in the mountains in Maine in a small town we have grocery stores about 5 miles each way. But 100 miles from home depot or large stores. We have had no problems so far with our mail as yet. It has been hard for paper goods and cleaning supplies. We consider ourselves lucky covid count is down in Maine. That's all any of us can ask for is to stay safe, hands are from washing and tired of masks but if that's what we need to do to stay safe then so be it!

Hi Jill, I'm waiting with you, life is crazy these days and our mail here in central oregon is spuratic at best. Seems there are about two days a week our mail doesnt even come these days. Our covid numbers keep increasing, grocery markets are struggling to keep the shelves stocked and there seems to be more frequent public altercations than ever before. I keep reminding myself patience and compassion! Along with safety and awareness!! Hugs to all!
