I got around to making Cottage Cheese out of the Milk Cow book. Turned out pretty darn good. I am not a huge fan of cottage cheese, but my husband likes it. The recipe is a winner. Best cottage cheese recipe I have made so far, and I have tried quite a few. Today I am making colby cheese, my usual recipe. It is sitting with starter in it. I think I will make a batch of dulce de leche or caramel!!
Yummy on ice cream or dipping apple slices in.

Glad the cottage cheese turned out so well for you. Enjoy your colby cheese and let us know if you made the dulce de leche. Good thing you have a dairy cow to make all these delicious cheese and sauces.
