Hi Farmgirls~~ If you are new to MJF, please check out the post I entered today under Holidays about our annual Farmgirl Apple Festival during the month of September. If you are familiar with this celebration, let's have fun and do our apple swap again.

This September, I will be going to a trip for a large chunk of the month so I am posting our swap earlier than usual. Sign-up will be 8/15--8/31. Partners will be posted September 1st Please be sure that you mail out your swap no later than September 15 so that your partner can enjoy what you sent during the month of September.

The only rule for this swap is that it must be about apples. Since postage has been going up and up, try and keep this swap small enough to be affordable so that everyone feels like they can participate.

I hope you all have fun and let the apple search begin for swap goodies to share with your partner!!

We have an uneven number this year so we will swap Round Robin style. Remember this: The person you send to is NOT THE PERSON, who sends to you. Your partner in the first person on the next line below your name. If there are any questions, please ask me for help. I know the first time I did it , I had it all tangled up!! Here we go. I am listing who sends to who and I hope I haven't made it confusing.

JennRap sends to GinghamGirl who sends to Jillyd
Jillyd sends to MBurns who sends to levisgrammy
levisgrammy sends to VTOMA who sends to killarney
Killarney sends to Wanda Sue who sends to amomoffer
Amomoffer sends to RedTractorGirl who sends to AndreaPA
AndreaPA sends to quiltee who sends to treelady
treelady sends to Vokamartell who sends to cntybuff
cntybuff sends to sweettea59 who sends to lovinRchickens
lovinRchickens sends to JennRap

Have fun everyone and thank-you all for joining in and leaving a bit of information about your favorite apples!!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Joyce, I'm so glad they made it safely to you. I was concerned with the storms and having never sent anything to Canada before. The apple chips are from our local apple ranch here, a favorite place for treats year round!

I'm so glad it arrived, Jill, and that you like it! Yes, I just learned about 1 1/2 years ago to crochet :) The apple slice is intended to be a hot pad - but you can use it for whatever you'd like :)

Joyce, your package arrived today! Thank you so much. I love your crocheting, weren't you just learning a year or so ago! The apple is so cute with the cinnamon stick stem. The soap smells delicious as well and I love the apple slice! The cloth will come in handy as well, maybe I'll save them up to use on Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you so much for being my partner.

Farmgirl hugs,
Jill :)

I'm glad you like your Apple goodies. I love dish drainer quilts - so far I have 4 or 5 I switch out. I wasn't sure if you liked Amish books, but I enjoyed the book and thought you might, too. The heart can hang on the wall or decorate a shelf. ENJOY!

Thank youLinda for the wonderful apple package. I love the dish drainer quilt-I never have enough of them this time of year. The book looks good, the apple heart looks good on my shelf and I will enjoy the treats. Thanks for being such a great partner.

Sheila,
I didn't make the apron, I found it in a little antique shop nearby. I'm glad it all made it safely. I was concerned about the cup and little dish. Glad you liked the package. I had a hard time finding apple things around here. Our local apple Festival is this coming weekend I believe.

Denise, thank you so much your package came today. It brightened my day. The nick-nack's, bucket of apples, rolling pin with apple pie on it. The cup is cute and I will drink the spiced apple cider mix in it. The Old Fashioned Apple recipe booklet has some great recipes in it, I was reading one to my husband and he is going to get some apples tomorrow. The soft carmel, apple candy is almost gone! Did you make the great apple apron. Thank you so much you are very thoughtful sorry, I can not post a picture.

Sherry love the Kleenex holder. Towels are just beautiful, neat wipe up cloth. Candy will be a nice treat and wooden apple is so cute! The tags are lovely. I will try and post again tomorrow.

Wow! I got my package from Andrea. It came earlier than the PO said it would. She spoiled me!

She made an apron using a MJ pattern and a microwave bowl potholder from the cutest apple and red truck fall fabrics. (They perfectly coordinate with a table runner I made.) she also sent an apple cookie cutter, an apple corer, 2 kitchen towels, a Godiva chocolate bar, an apple magazine cookbook, and a recipe card for Ancestor Apple Cake. I will make the apple cake VERY soon!l! And will be carefully going through the magazine for recipes.

Thank you so much, Andrea!!!
