Hey Ladies!!!
PLEASE DON'T FORGET OUR SPECIAL DAY OF PRAYER ON WEDMESDAY NOVEMBER 17th!!! GOD SURELY HEARS OUR PRAYERS AS WE JOIN TOGETHER FOR THIS SPECIAL DAY OF PRAYER!!!
I would like for us to set aside a time for a Special Day of Prayer. I have chosen Wednesday November 17th. There are so many things...situations and people we need to pray for. The past couple of years have been times like we could never have imagined. So many people have lost loved ones due to natural causes and multitudes have lost loved ones to Covid. Sweet innocent children have been filled with anxiety and sadness over their school situations and being home so much. But non the less the Lord has never left us or forsaken us. We not only need to pray to the Lord but Praise Him for what He has done for us and continues to bring us through. If you would please post here on this forum saying you will join what I hope will be many other farm girls who will be praying. We need to pray for our country and leaders...for the health and safety of our country and families and most of all for those who have never accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!!! If you have prayer requests that you would like to share on here please do so. Or just post as an unspoken request. I know and believe that God hears our prayers and will answer our prayers as we join together in prayer!!!
I look forward to joining each of you in prayer and hearing how the Lord answers our prayers and moves in situations where we so desperately need help from the Lord!!!

I want to thank each of you for joining our Farm Girl Day of Prayer!!! Many of us pray every day and throughout the day. I know it means so much to the Lord when we join together lifting up praises to Him and also our petitions before Him! He is so worthy of our praise! I love each of you and lets continue to pray for each other...our leaders...our country...other countries and all those around the world who don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Well, it's 17 November here in Australia (yes, we're a day ahead). Please know that I am praying for my special farmgirl friends today. It was very fitting that, at church on Sunday, our minister spoke on the verses from Hebrews that say "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching". Hebrews 10:24-25. So, today I am grateful for my farmgirl sisters and how they encourage me in my everyday life.

Thank you for organizing this Judy! I will be joining in the day of prayer! Prayer is beyond powerful, and quite necessary for us, as faith-filled beings. I once heard a priest say that prayer is to the soul what water and food are to the body.... refreshing, nourishing, and absolutely necessary to stay alive!! I took this to heart and developed a good prayer routine. In the past I taught religious education at my parish, I had students from 1st through 12th grades and I taught them all that everything they do can be a prayer, so long as they do so with grace and respect and put the intentionality of prayer into their activity. The easiest action to teach was always singing, it is a prayer twice, the words that are being sung are a prayer, and the very act of singing is a prayer!!
