Anyone else spot the new Merit Badges for this year? There are 7 new badges and they will be available the second week in January. Those who already have the Merit Badge Planner will get an email with the new badges to print and add to the binder. Here are the new badges...

Cleaning Up:
Staying green

Cleaning Up:
Leave It Better Than You Found It

Cleaning Up:
Path To Zero Waste

Each Other:
International Civics Challenge

Farm Kitchen:
Kitchen Renegade

Garden Gate:
Water Management

Make It Easy:
Macrame

I am super excited for the Macrame Badge! When I was in middle school my dad taught me how to macrame and we made a very bright purple, blue, pink, etc colored hanging! It’s been so long that I have actually forgotten how to macrame and I would love to relearn how! Definitely adding this one to the top of my list.

Which badge or badges stick out the most to you?

Krista

Kathy, you can grab one here https://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/merit-badge-planner.aspx
It is definitely worth it. I love mine and it helps me keep track of my notes and dates that are needed!

Krista, How do we get the Merit Badge Planner? Sounds like something I could use.
Thanks, Kathy

I like the Kitchen Renegade badge and I'm also excited about the Macrame badge. I have been wanting to make the hammock in Mary Jane's ideabook and started looking for supplies after seeing the new badges.
