Hey farm sisters,, I will be MIA for a few days as hubby and I have to head back to SO. California to take care of family business..
Not happy about having to travel during this terrible Pandemic.. but we don't have any choice.. Once we get settled in,, I'll be back on line,, I hope.. so until then,,,
Happy Safe New Year...
Oh and,, I can't fuss to much,, I'll be in the Palm Springs area,,, sunshine galore! Not a flake of snow ... but, unfortunately everything is closed down... so I will have to just soak up the sunshine.

Heather that is such a Beautiful Picture...even though it is cold and snowy! We are suppose to feel some of that Arctic Chill here in the NW this week

HI Grace, so glad you were able to get back on to the farm and let us know you are doing well!! It is also good news that your cleaning up is coming to an end and now entering the last phase of the job. With such good weather where you are, I bet the house will sell quickly too. Oh Grace! Your weather looks fabulous! I’m a bit jealous. Ours is a snow storm today and the wind is blowing super hard. It just started but should snow all day. I’m ready for some sunshine so I can take some walks. Please enjoy all that sunshine and walks for me.

OK,, I so miss you all,, and then for the past few days I have been having issues with my computer/ipad/kindle & cell phone wifi-hotspot!!
I could not access my emails, favorite sites etc..
So,, now I am on my hubbies 'wifi-hotspot.
I am sending private emails now to friends .. but Jean & Winnie.. please disregard my last emails.. now that I can use my hubbies hotspot.
Ok, life is good, sun is shining, and I am still squeezing fresh juice daily ...
Hubby and I take Ginger pup for daily walks down to the golf course..
But unfortunately we still are eating way to much junk food! lol!
also found a couple more Hedgie Hoggies for my collection..
Ok, off to eat lunch,,,,

Thanx ladies,, we figure we can head home about mid March... just in time to work on our Taxes... lol!
Hubby and I decided to 'drive around and get lost'',, This whole Palm Springs area is quit interesting... love the old MCM (mid-century modern) buildings and oh my stars, the Golf Courses are Fabulous,, and I don't even golf! haha!
Loving all the Geraniums and Roses...
Today it rained in the later part of the day.. so I made comfort food, Schnitzle and Knodels... yumyum..
I am suppose to be balancing my check book on line but thought I would pop in to say Hi again..

Hey all,, , almost finished clearing out mom's house.. Monday the Rescue Mission comes to pick up the big stuff,,, so we will be down to just a sofa, TV, card table & 2 chairs and our AREO bed.. then it is on to cleaning up, painting, etc.
My DH has gotten the front and back yard all spruced up.
We had some lovely weather,, but now it is a bit dreary and we are expecting some rain tomorrow and on Monday.
I do miss my house and kitty,, Kiki,, she is vacationing at my daughter's home and loving it..
Ginger pup is enjoying being able to 'woof' at the patio door to go out side to go tinkle all on her own.. I must say, having a fenced in back yard is nice for that reason... but it also takes some getting use to having neighbors all around..
I hope you all are staying safe and healthy and having fun in some sort of mischief.. I do miss my messy sewing room..

Hey all, just got 3min of wifi..
mixed happy sad feelings,, but love all the memories I have been finding stashed away.. including my 1st ever and very remedial quilt that I made for my parents in 1982.. dad passed away in 1983..
Hugz to you all.. hopefully next week I'll be able to sit out by the club house and access their free wifi to pop in here and spend time with my MJF gal pals,, but until then..

Oh, bless her heart....the worst time with the addition of saying good bye to parents, signing through the house and cleaning it out. My heart hurts for her.....but shes has amazing resiliency. My heartfelt prayers and condolences.

Jean -- if you talk to her give her my condolences. We cleaned out departed parents home two years ago and it is one of those trials you never think you will finish. Please tell her it will get better, it really will.

Just got a short email from Grace (Katmom). She has very limited wi fi so wanted me to pass on to everyone that she is "up to her eyeballs" as she put it in the mess. But she is enjoying the fresh squeezed OJ and southern California sunshine every day -- I didn't need to hear that. LOL. She misses y'all. If she comes back with a suntan, I'm really gonna be upset with her.

Enjoying the sunshine.... but..
clearing out and cleaning up one's mom's house... and mom was a "keeper of stuff,,, too much stuff"... is daunting...
But,, bits' of joy have arisen,, I found the very 1st quilt I made,, for my mom, 45years old... which brings joy to my heart.. also found my Dirndle shoes,, (german shoes that went with my Dirndle,, but have not found the dress ,,, but still have rooms and closets to clear out.'

Just checking in,, got access to Wifi.. arrived in Newbury Park ,Cal... and enjoying the warm sunny weather, a bit windy,, but loving the sunshine.
Heading out to Palm Springs tomorrow..
Staying safe,, masked & gloved.. and I swear, I have used more sanitizer in the past few days then I have in the past tear! lol!
But,, Safety first.
