We just, this week lost our precious 10 year old Schnauzer! Her name was Tillie, named after my aunt, who played the piano by ear.. We have searched and searched for a puppy...Locally and on line. My husband is so sad. So if you know of a breeder or know some one who has a Sweet little pup, please send me their informTion, so I'm can call them.

Our Rainey is really growing. She is now 51/2 months old. My hubby gets a bit frustrated when she pees in the floor...but she can sleep through the night and as long as I can slip some shoes on and get through three doors in time... No puddles! She does look a bit like a Scottie! She smells like a doggie...needs a bath...if we ever have a warm day again...or perhaps a groomer visit would be best. She needs to go so she can learn the routine.
She obeys and is a quick learner. She can sit and stay, unless there is a chicken or a kitty who will run and make lots of noise. She has learned that "no bites" means exactly that. Now if she can learn that I am not her toy. Haha!

Marilyn, I’m so happy to hear you are all adjusting. Don’t you just wish you had as much energy as a puppy?! Maylee has so much and when she has her wild moments I wish I could bottle half that energy to save for me! I love the name too! Sending all the puppy hugs your way!

Marilyn,

I'm so glad you found a new fur baby to love. It's always so hard when we lose a beloved pet, they aren't really pets at all just furry family members. I hope you post a pic soon. I would love to see her.

hugs,
Marcy

Dearest friends, thank you so much for your prayers, your thoughts and your help through this ordeal. Tomorrow we will drive to meet the newest member of our family. She is black, with tiny bits of white and she is six months old. But she is a miniature schnauzer. Her people parents have sold their home and where they will be for a while does not allow dogs. She said she really hated to have to give her up. I'm sure she does! I love you all

Thank you all. Linda, thank you for the information but right now the only puppy that will suit him is a Schnauzer. He does not want a black one, nor a white one. He wants a salt and pepper schnauzer. We have had five of them in our 58 years married and he has his heart set on another one. I like the fact that they do not shed.

Marilyn - a friend's dog in AZ is going to have puppies - not sure when. But they are bigger than a schnauzer - they are labrodoodles. Very lovable. My friend has raised and sold them for years, though she took a break for a few years and this is her dog's first litter. Father is AKC registered.

Darlene, you are right, they do find us. When God sees that one of our for babies has gone, he usually provides a new lovie! In fact, Schnauzers are the only little sweeties we have had to look for.
Our out door kitties are two brothers, they are about six and have begun to fight. Inside we have Mr. Twister. He is 18 1/2.
The big out door dogs are actually our sons dogs...but because we live only 1/8 of a mile apart...they eat at both places. In fact the little white dog that lives in our house was found sitting on a flat trailer in the middle of a pasture one evening by our son. She was hungry, thirsty and covered in fleas. But after her bath, she was pretty cute.
Since we are only five miles from town...we frequently have dogs dumped out. They are scared. They don't usually come up the 1/4 mile from the county road. So we take food and water to them. It is so sad, because the dogs are always so fearful.
