I have the love seat, Richard has the couch. Its nice in the cold weather because I'm right near the fireplace. I sit there on the right side everyday, reading or some fancy work. That's my spot. Sometimes when I get up and I come back kitty is there, I think she does that on purpose.
Cool here today in the 60's. Cooking some salmon for dinner, any ideas on how to do that??

Andrea, I would like your brown sugar recipe! It may help my kids eat the salmon better and it sounds yummy!

This recipe is for salmon on the grill but I have put it in the oven at 350 degrees.
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (you can omit)
Combine ingredients and rub all over flesh side of salmon.
Grill 8-10 minutes. Salmon should flake easily with a fork.
*Grill on cedar plank or foil.
*You can squeeze lemon over the salmon but I don't.

Love this cozy spot!

I have a terrible tome cooking salmon. Definitely need some new recipes for it.

Kitty is sitting there because you warmed it up for her.
I make our salmon with a honey and mustard coating and cook it on a cedar shingle. Too yummy for words.

That looks like a great spot! I hope your salmon came out good. I have a brown sugar rub that I like to put on mine. Let me know if you would like the recipe. I do have a hard time not over-cooking salmon. I always worry about things being raw.
