For July lets do red white and blue. Just send one handwritten recipe to one partners that is red, white, or blue. (I'm thinking berries, marshmallows, cake, etc.) You can pick just one color.

Darlene, I'd plant them in the fall and they should sprout in spring. They are all along the roadsides here.

Oh good, I am glad it made it ok! Mail has been moving very slow around here, I've noticed! Mmmm...we planted rhubarb as well! I do love it so. Enjoy! :)

Dear Hannah,
How wonderful. I planted a rhubarb plant. There are a lot of folks at church who enjoy rhubarb pie, I am looking forward to making one for next year sometime when my plant is ready to be harvested. Now, I have the recipe. I wanted to get a picture of our plant. After I planted it, I almost lost it. Thank you for your Red, White, and Blue. I will still try to get the picture for you.

Vanessa, thank you so much for the recipes, wonderful apron, straw holder,how cleaver! The sweet peas are awesome! Would I have time to grow them yet? I'll look in the Farmer's Almanac! I love cabbage and the frozen yogurt also! I'll eat to much of it too! LoL! You definitely spoiled me!

Tiana - I started this swap in Jan. so that it can be sent from home with only a stamp. The only requirement is one handwritten recipe (for this month pick a recipe for something red, white, or blue - it's a different theme every month). Any tucks are optional - not required. It's up to you if you want to include something besides the hand written recipe or not. I hope you'll join us!
