DH and I had to run a few errands in Spokane,, so we doned our masks and disposable gloves and popped into our favorite Thrift, that just opened back up.. hardly anyone in the store..
I came across a few wonderful finds...
Some Daisy Kingdom fabric for my grand-girlie who loves to sew and craft.. over 2 yards for $1.50... score!

I also came across these Tea Mystery novels,, for 75 cents each..

I bought them with the intent of giving them to my girlies,, but decided to read one 1st.. I think I will hold onto these until they are a few years older... not 11 year old reading stories.. maybe when they are 14+...
I do like that they are Christian books,, but the subject matter is not for 11 year olds.

found this for .99 cents,, notice they spelled 'memories ' wrong... I swear, that is something I would do! lol!

and this sweet hand stitched goodie was also .99cents..
I also found a few fun reading books, science and crafting, for the grand kiddos...
Everything went from the car to the garage, to be Lysol'd..
I want to be safe,, since both my daughter and granddaughter are Asthmatic.
All in All, it was nice to get out of the house,, escape the rain and see some scenery. Now to stay home until next week..
Stay healthy my friends... and in spite everything, stay happy..

Linda,, Oh Wowzers,, I had no idea.. and they are in 'looks to never have been read' condition...

On the books, I just do a light sprits of Lysol on the outside,, and let sit for a day..

Denise -- Our bank in open. The had started a major remodeling a month before the virus and set up business in a trailer in the parking lot; unfortunately the trailer has no drive thru. The other bank in town has no drive thru either, so we get to play bank robbers.

Judith, are the lobbies of your banks open or drive through? We still have to go through the drive through here.

Grace those are fantastic finds! Especially those books for 75 cents. I have been collecting and reading those for a while. They are hard to find and a bit pricey to boot. Love all the embroidery pieces too. I just wipe down the covers of books and everything would get tossed in the wash right away.

We thought it was amusing to go to the bank yesterday with masks on. We couldn't have gotten away with that four months ago.

Grace -

Just curious - How do you Lysol books? just the covers?

I love finding yardage and embroidered linens for pennies like that. Great deals.

Grace...you really did find some treasures. I particularly liked the Books. Are they Guidepost Books? They sort
of look like it. It is great that your Grand-daughters love to sew and craft. They come by it in their genetics...
I'm sure of it!! I hate to say it but I think you are getting our rain of the last two days...and we are supposed
to have nice summer weather for the next week...In the '80s and possibly '90s!! So, hopefully' that will come your
way too.

Have a great day...Lovely Lady!!!

Love, Hugs and Sunshine,
Peggy

Great scores, Grace, Paris doesn't have good thrift stores so I'm a teensy bit jealous.
