Since I am so busy with summer chores---I really do dread cooking and am looking for simple slow cooker recipes. I found this one and it is so easy that I could not believe it. It was super tasty too. Mix 2 cups uncooked macaroni and 2 cups grated cheese with one and a half cups of evaporated milk and a cup of water. Add one and a half teaspoon of salt and one half teaspoon of pepper. Cook in a greased slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours. I had to stir mine to keep it from sticking. Any super easy recipes for me in the slow cooker.???I am such a lazy cook in the summer.

I love to make pork loin in the cooker every once in a while. So easy and comes out tasty especially if the juice is used to make gravy.
I just take a small pork loin and add 2 cups chicken broth, a tbsp of soy sauce and a tbsp of lemon juice, a tsp of thyme and a tsp of garlic powder and cover and cook on low for 6 hrs. So moist and tender.

Well, I would have never thought about making mac & cheese in a slow cooker so I am glad I checked this thread out. I will just have to try all these recipes because they sound so good. Since it is just the two of us, I will share with my daughter, granddaughter and neighbors....lol.
Thank you, ladies!

Southern Living Slow Cooker Mexican Macaroni and Cheese

Another great recipe that doesn’t require cooking the noodles first!!!

8 oz package elbow macaroni, uncooked
10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
10 ¾ oz can cream of mushroom
1 cup water
8 oz sour cream
4.5 oz can chopped green chiles
2.5 cups shredded Mexican cheeses

Stir together first 6 ingredients in a bowl; stir in 1.5 cups cheese. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 1 ½ quart slow cooker. Top with remaining cheese.

Cover and cook on LOW 4 ½ hours or until macaroni is done.

I have made both of these recipes SO many times! Always a hit!

Southern Living Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese

1 (8-ounce) package shredded Italian three-cheese blend
1 (8-ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese$
2 large eggs, lightly beaten $
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups milk $
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces small shell pasta (about 2 1/4 cups), uncooked

Preparation
Combine cheeses in a bowl; set aside.
Whisk together eggs and next 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in pasta and 3 cups cheese mixture. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 3-quart slow cooker; sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese mixture.
Cover and cook on LOW 4 hours. Sprinkle servings evenly with remaining cheese mixture.

No Precook: The best part of this simple recipe is that you don't have to precook the pasta!

Sub whatever cheeses you happen to have! Any small pasta works, just measure to the 2 1/4 cups. In my large slow cooker it's done before the full 4 hours...

Barbara thanks for the recipe. Sounds good. Like Sara I also use the liners to help with clean up.

Easy recipes are my absolute favorite! Slow cookers and instant pots are my best friends! As far as super easy recipes... I have 2 that are way way simple.

1. Ranch Chicken Tacos
-2 pounds chicken
-1 packet taco seasoning
-1 packet ranch seasoning
-1/4 cup water
Put everything in crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours shredding chicken an hour before done. Serve on taco shells with favorite toppings.

2. Sweet Teriyaki Chicken
-1 cup soy sauce
-1 cup sugar
-1 tsp garlic salt
- half an onion
-4 to 6 chicken breasts
Cook on low 8 hours and serve over rice

These 2 are my family’s favorites.

Barbara -- Put a chicken, whole or parts, in the crockpot. Add a can of crushed pineapple and a splash of soy sauce. This was one of my favorite dishes when I was working. Cook some rice to go with it and you've got dinner.

Barbara thanks for the recipe. I'll give it a try. I use slowcooker liners which helps with no clean-up.
