Could someone explain how the chapters work? Is there a place where I can see if there's a chapter near me?

Lynda, If you go to shop.maryjanesfarm.org you will see a category about Sisterhood. There is a drop down choice and choose Farmgirlsisterhood.org, then click on merit Badge requirements and you will find all of the badges and how to earn them. I hope this will all work for you and your group. Post back here if you have an issue finding the correct link.

Where is information on the badges that you earn? I've heard about that, but don't know where to find more about it. There is not a chapter close to me, but I'd like more information about it to share with a group of ladies in my area. We were an Extension Club, but recently disbanded. However the ladies don't really want to give up getting together, but we don't have a focus other than being a social club. And that's fine, just thought having chapter information might give us something more to think about and a bigger reason for getting together. Thanks much for your help.

You can search by State ... there are also instructions on starting your own chapter.

I am not sure there are chapters anymore. Instead, there are HenHouses with groups of Farmgirls that sort of self organize. It is all sort of loosely put together which is not a very helpful answer to you. If I can find out something better, I will post back here.

I too am curious as to the closest chapter to me. Sandy, I don not think we will find ourselves in the same chapter. Hope you are having a good day. I am told there are about 5 sisters spread out her in Ohio. I know from thee swaps I have participated in during the past few weeks, there are more sisters in Texas.
