So funny Grace---you will always rock on and I will too. I wear strange clothes too---always have---I march to a different drummer for sure. Hubby is retired for a whole week---he is out of Sam's Club for good and we are having a blast hiding in the holler---as long as we don't die. I want to enjoy my last days as queen of the holler. Oh my God---my old hero Mick Jagger could die---but I say who cares about that old queen---time to look after ourselves. Laughter is good---but we have to be serious. God gave us a brain---don't be foolish. Love all of you--- Face TOWARD THE SPRING and the hope of renewal. Praying for all. Covid 19---is now in both my surrounding counties. I never liked our governor---but he has acted fast, Peace and love and prayers to all of you. So very tired of virus death news---I am off to watch a murder on ID> One death at a time can be mourned---not all these.

Hillarious! You make my day! Love the coat! My mother was all about the animal prints and it rubbed off! I love snow and we barely had any this year.

Dawn,, we are due in another round of snow this week,, but like you,, should melt away in a day or two as out temps will be heading up to the 50's..

We got about 3"s of snow last night here west of Chicago. It is beautiful but I'm sure it will melt away by tonight. We'll be in the 40's and 50's for the rest of this week with rain. I do think I prefer the snow, at least I can go outside and take a walk in that!

Well said, Grace!! I was a nurse for 34 years and I used to think to myself, how wonderful it would be to have power of what I could do every day. You are so right, retirement is a great thing!!! I do love that photo of you and your gal-pals!! Looks like you all were set for some FUN!

I'm with you Grace! I had to work in an uptight public service position for many years and now that I'm retired I've got time to be myself. I' sure at times my neighbors just shake their heads and think "it's that crazy cat lady again".

I am of the mind set,, 'Don't take yourself seriously',,,
I have several lovely wool coats,, the red one being my fav... But I also have some fun vtg. coats and this fake fur swing coat... which I love,, I am sure people look at me like I am a nut,,, but who cares!
I subscribe to the philosophy of the Red Hat Society.. "When I am old and gray, I shall wear a purple dress and a red hat"...
Life is to short to not have fun or be silly!
20 years employed with the County, I had a strict routine...I had to be a mature adult!.. but no longer..
Ahh! retirement is a Good Thing! and being silly is even better! No wine needed... but it doesn't hurt!

LOL,, Grace!!!! What a Glam shot for a late winter snow!! You go Girl!!!! Here in Florida, all the Spring break kids are storming the beaches since we have temps in the low 80s. Apparently, they haven’t heard about social distancing either!! So, your “snow beach” is nice and safe and you can take in the rays and not risk your health, which is a much better! The snow looks quite deep too. Wow, how different the world and life is between your state and mine right now. But we will all be begging for some cooler weather come July down here!! Talk about HEAT and HUMIDITY!
