I have been working on some meals in a jar projects. A lot of the baking recipes call for powdered eggs. Everywhere I look they are astronomically expensive. Any farmgirl out there with a resource to powdered eggs?

Also, does anyone how to convert a recipe from powdered eggs to fresh eggs?

Thanks in advance!

Yes! Sharone! Go to Ourhalfacrehomestead and see the Mrs. Volfie's powdered egg how-to! I actually was just thinking today that I might revisit her video myself and try to powder some of the abundance of eggs I have in the freezer! Not sure if that's okay to do, but I will look into it, for sure! (Lisa - You and I think alike! I miss you girl!)

Having said that, I do have some powdered eggs from Honeyville stored away. I bought Ova Easy Whole Egg Crystals because my research showed that they are the best for eating (scrambled, omelettes, etc.) as well as for baking. https://shop.honeyville.com/ova-easy-whole-egg-crystals.html
I haven't tried them yet, but have them on hand for emergency only. You just never know!

Let us know how you make out, Sherone!

Sherone, go on youtube and there are a ton of recipes for how to make powdered eggs.
I think the Mrs Volfie has one where she's using 2 yo powdered eggs.
Good Luck!
