Yesterday we had a spur of the moment adventure. When we were at the family farm my boys kept asking to ride the horses, so we saddled up and took a little ride! This was Everleighs first time horseback riding and she loved it! Even though the picture really doesnt show it lol! I also took my middle boy with me, while my oldest only rode with my husband. I'm excited for our next horseback riding adventure!

Winnie, the horse fever and farm working bug has already bitten my oldest. He can't get enough of it! He's always asking to go to the Farm and ride in the tractors. He even goes out some mornings to help feed the cows. So I wasn't surprised when he started asking to ride horses! It will be interesting to see how my other 2 feel when they get older!

What sweet photos of your little girl and one son!! I was totally horse crazy all of my life. When I was 5 years old, i begged to have a pony ride and so my parents took me , my sister, and a neighborhood girl to a place that you could have pony rides. That fueled a entire childhood riding horses and working at a barn to cover the costs of lessons. Maybe one of your children will catch "horse fever”too!

Thank you Bonnie, Vicki, and Lori! They sure enjoyed themselves! They have asked about 10 times now to go back lol! I think they have found their new favorite activity.

What adorable children! What an awesome adventure for you and your kids. I learned young too and have had a lifetime of pleasure riding.

Thank you! I must hide my fear very well lol! It was pretty scary with her. We only went a short distance. It was easier with my son because he would hold on, which was very helpful.

Krista---you look so confident sitting on that horse---like you have ridden all your life. I would have been scared to death to ride with a small child. Be proud of yourself.

Thank you Nancy!

Barbara, I have only been on a horse a couple of times myself. They are high off the ground and that's scary to me. We are definitely blessed to have a farm in the family so that my kids can explore and experience these things. I would have loved having one when I grew up. Thank you so much!

How wonderful that the kids get to be around horses. I love horses but I have only rode one twice---once in a park and once in a holler in a bad part of WV where my friend made it run away with me and it scared me to death. Your kids have such a good life---it makes me smile to see them so happy.

How cute she looks. Your son is a handsome lad too.
