My legs, arms, and feet are still speckled with stain, but our new outdoor living space is complete. It started with a gazebo kit from Lowe's and was finished by two very skilled craftsmen who built the beautiful deck and put it all together. It sits in our front yard, just steps across the driveway, and we'll be spending hours upon hours here when we aren't camping and out in nature!

Rachel, just wondering how you are enjoying that beautiful outdoor living area you have. I've been thinking about you sitting out there enjoying life and family and friends. I hope it brings you a lot of happy times and memories.

@Sherone - I've been through Wyoming and the area I saw was full of dead trees (near Devil's Tower.) It was so.... Old West-y. I remember commenting to my husband that it felt like a horse-drawn carriage full of bandits was going to come out from around a bend and block the road at any moment.

@Bonnie - we have mosquitos, but they aren't like they were when I lived in Indiana. I rarely get bitten here. Out there, I was like a walking all you can eat buffet for those little jerks.

Love, love, love! That is an awesome tree too! Since it is so hard to grow a tree in Wyoming, I always appreciate a good tree.

Very cool space! In Minnesota you would have to put screens on because of the mosquitos. I envy you

Beautiful outdoor seating. There is very little more relaxing than sitting outside in your own private retreat and watching and listening to nature.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

It's beautiful and inviting Rachel. I love it. We have been talking about putting a gazebo up by our pond. Yours is so beautiful that I would love to get it done.

Thanks for all your comments, ladies! We're in the middle of a PNW heat wave so I haven't been outside much to enjoy the space, but I will when the weather allows. We really can't wait until the rainy fall when we're out there wrapped up in blankets enjoying the sound of the rain on the metal roof!

Rachel, your new Pergola space is beautiful!! I know you will enjoy many hours there enjoying the outdoors. Now time for a bunch of bird feeders to encourage the birds to visit with you as you sit outside. We have a similar covered space in our backyard and with lots of various feeders, we have the perfect entertainment!
