Okay so I am not one to complain about the weather. I always say if I never leave the house because of bad weather in Connecticut I'd never leave the house. But enough is enough!
My chickens are hiding in the coop. My dogs don't want to go outside. I haven't seen the sun in so long I forgot what it looks like...yellow, I think? Plans keep getting cancelled. Roads are slick. It's cold. Like March. Can't garden and need a canoe to get to my glamper, Gidget, cause the yard is a swamp. Yesterday parts of CT saw snow. SNOW! We should be wearing sundresses, hanging laundry out, planting gardens...not using the fireplace and driking hot tea instead of iced. Mother Nature, please get the memo, dear.
Okay. Venting over. Thank you. But you know, even Noah got a break after forty days!
So...I am sewing, baking, listening to music...all those fun things to do inside that I want to make time for. No excuse since I can't weed or plant!
I promise not to complain when the heat comes. I promise!

Got in Gidget a bit yesterday but guess what? OMG...first day of summer (school being out) and it is COLD, RAINY and Grey! Like a November day! Waaaa!

I hear ya...kinda the same here. One nice day, four rainy...today is nice but the next four are not supposed to be! NEED A GLAMPING FIX too, for sure!

Nicole, when do you plan to load Gidget up and head out camping? I'm definitely ready to head out camping too. Hopefully in the next couple weeks we can go.

We have FINALLY had great weather! I have been cleaning Gidget up and spending time in her. She needed a good vacuuming and spiffing after all winter. The bunting you sent is absolutely the BEST! I just keep looking at it all the time! THANK YOU!

Well it's finally been PICTURE PERFECT! Doing the happy dance. One of my parents has flown in and we are enjoying the beautiful weather. Put in the veggie garden and so happy to see the sun.

Nicole, we have been getting a ton of rain here as well. It has been a very wet spring. I'm not sure how many inches we have received but it's more than usual. Today it has poured all day and we have new snow in our mountains. It's crazy how our weather has been this year.

OMG you girls are so funny! Love my farmgirl friends. Okay so get this...yesterday we had a bit of sun. Today: RAIN! Now we typically should get 40 inches in a year...so far we have had SEVENTY! 70 inches and it's not even half way yet. Enough already!

I did the "Big Shave' last week when the weather turned warn and sunny, now my hairless legs are freezing,, since the weather turned foul yesterday! go figure! lololol!
tucked the flip flops back into the closet and pulled out my fluffy slippers again too! :>)

Sounds lovely! So far we have only taken our camper to one campsite. Hopefully we can travel farther with her in the future.
I am so ready for shorts and for sandals! I hated to crack out the boots yesterday but had to!

Hey Nicole hi! I'm in a little modular with a loft and we(SO) Travel back and forth year round. I live in a campground just a bit north of the border on 84!I call it Glamping for fun but we upgraded after a year in a 19' travel trailer. The life of tiny homes really. Luxury is having a craft spot and tub! Lol! I'm so ready for shorts! Soon right!?

We were in Litchfield county yesterday and it was gross...big, slushy raindrops like sleet. Blah. Last year it was in the 80s and 90s. Hopefully soon it will change!

Oh yes! Like you said not to far from me! Slush and cold, my little patches of green are underwater! Burr this little Alaska girl cannot take the cold now that I'm a summer living glamper camper full time! Lol! Good thing I have some warm clothes stashed!
