Karla,,, your lil Teddy is adorbs!
I would be a Foster Failure,,, as I would most likely keep every kitty that came into my home... which isn't necessarily a bad thing!

Nancy, your 'son' is a cutie and yes,,, I think it is a common trait among Shih-Tzu... chair stealing! not to mention food begging and 'woofing' if we don't pay attention to her..

Kiki and Teddy are cuties! Below is our newest son. I think I already posted about him. Don't let his cuteness fool you. He steals our spots on the couch and the bed if either of us gets up for even a second. He has a big sister 5 times his size but he thinks he is the boss.

Grace,
So very sorry about Peekaboo kitty, my Ozzie crossed over the Rainbow bridge Dec.26th. He was not a lap cat or a cuddlier, but he was my little man, and he had a few habits that made him very dear to me. I have one other cat so I was not getting any more.
Until.
I am a volunteer with a small local cat rescue, and have been for a number of years. My neighbor and I take in mother/babies, or orphan babies and bottle fed, or what ever is needed at the time.
Below is Teddy, he is responsible for making me a foster cat failure. He and his two siblings were left in a box at an area store, umbilical cords still attached. I was called we had a female with kittens and she let them join the litter. Well Teddy was the last to stop nursing, in fact I bottle fed him a little longer.
Can't say why him out of all the others, but here he is. He is a lover, and without any knowledge of ever being around Ozzie, he does the same little habits that only Ozzie did. We were meant to be. Hugs, Karla

I hear ya Nora... when our Peekaboo aka Perkie went over the Rainbow bridge last November... it tore out my heart.... and, Kiki had just started hanging around.... and now my heart still misses Peekie but Kiki certainly has helped my heart heal.
I still miss certain little nuances of Peekie... and Kiki is cr3ating new ones..
we never get over the loss of our beloved fur kids but we share the love ...

Sorry you lost your kitty, I also lost one this month. I haven't replaced her yet. I thought I'd wait until spring when the shelters are overran and adopt one then. I miss Cleo everynight, she slept on my side. It irritated me for almost nine years
, but now I really miss it.

She must feel well loved Grace. She got a new home, her own Jungle Gym, and plenty of food and LOVE!
And you got a furry companion and a lot of amusement! It's A Win/Win for ALL! <3

In a matter of a month, we have cleaned her up, fattened her up and in return has turned into a love bug!
And she gets along with Ginger... who keeps stealing her toys!
