Ladies, Welcome to our March Card Swap.
For any newcomers, we send a card to each person who signs up for the swap. I will send out mailing addresses to everyone.

You can make, buy, cut and paste Etc. to make the cards. We have a Theme each month to guide our work.

Well.. it’s A March Swap... so most anything goes. Some of you will still have snow. Some will have Spring Flowers, and some balmy weather.

March is supposed to come in like a Lion and go put like a a lamb. But some years I’d think it just got reversed..especially in Texas.

( Okay...Lions or Lambs also potential themes. I’m good with that!

Start Creating, Ladies. Swap Sign Up End on March 5 th,

Thank you all for the wonderful cards.

Farmgirl friends are fun.

Thanks Mary for your March "Lion and Lamb" poem with the cute little lion and lamb
hand colored at the bottom of the page. I think most of us will agree that this March
early on was a Lion with all the snow, wind and weather but it sure is like a "lamb" now
and we are enjoying sunny skies here for a change and hope you are too.

Marilyn,
You had asked about the flower picture I took for the front of my card. Yes, those were
from my backyard long planter box last summer. They took off like crazy and I guess
"Miracle Grow" really works along with the enriched soil. It was a small package of liquid
for the Miracle Grow and I would definitely buy it again.

And ladies, on a somber note...Spring approaches with more violent weather. If you need a Safe Space... ie Those Whirly Gigs....

FIND a SPACE THAT PUTS AS MANY WALLS BETWEEN YOU AND THE OUTSIDE AS YOU CAN. Stay Safe....

Thank you Lenora for your sweet Spring glitter bluebird card I received yesterday. You
even had St. Patrick's Day included with the shamrocks and gold coins confetti.

We had a very strong windstorm in this area yesterday and lost power for several hours.
Today it is rain mixed with hail. I also learned to charge my cell phone daily you sure don't
want to be without one.

Yes it is so important to keep your phone's and tablets charged right now. If you have a device that you can use to charge your phone without electricity...make sure they are all fully charged each Morning. I learned that the hard way during our power outage last year.

Re Storm... Glad you all are safe. I live a bit east and south of Marilyn and we only got the end of the system.
My closet is always prepared with pillows, bicycle helmets, heavy quilt, water and tuna packets. It’s Texas after all. And Springtime.

Back in 1997 we had a big F5 hut Salado which is about 18 mile south of us.
It’s a good habit of keeping a near full charge on our cell phones too.
Stay safe, all!

Wow, Connie. You had a big wind!
That was the same system that brought us some hail.
I was very glad we did not get any twisters like they warned us about. God is good!
When my phone alerted at 3:52am, I thought, Oh, No. But it was not so bad.

Today a card from Linda, Beautiful flowers. Did you grow those in your yard? I also enjoyed all of the comments from various people about flowers. Thanks Linda.

I was surprised how fast you got my card Connie. It got to you in record time from here.
Sounds like you got some strong gusts of wind. March can be like that...comes in like a
lion and goes out like a lamb.

Thanks to Marilyn for your pretty fabric shamrocks card. Loved how you decorated your
card and the pretty tulips sticker inside.

Thanks also to Marlene. I received your fun St. Patrick's Day card, especially the large
glittery shamrock inside. Also liked all the stamps you used.

The only reason mine were mailed today, I finally went to have my hair cut and my husband dropped me off at the shop and went to get coffee water at the water shop and he went by the P.O. drop box, stopped and dropped my cards in.
