December has not been good to my Caroline Grace. The day after her birthday she tripped and broke her wrist. Now she has screws and plates in it and a big cast. Then last Wednesday her landlady called saying her French bulldog Chandler got out of the yard. She hurried home to find him, but when she got there she discovered him drowned in the swimming pool.
A year ago, she had 2 things she really wanted: a VW Bug convertible and Chandler. The bug was totaled in an accident earlier this year and now Chandler is gone. Carol had just moved into a nice place in a good neighborhood and always watched Chandler around the pool, but the landlady let him out and forgot. I am not going to blame her, as she was just as upset as Carol was. I think the worst outcome is that Carol is so heartbroken that she no longer believes God will answer her prayers.
There is so much I ask y'all to pray for her: peace, faith, a Godly man, and wisdom to negotiate her hours at work so she doesn't work late so often.

I just pray she'll meet a nice young man - a plumber, electrician, or car repairman...

How sad. Your poor daughter. I hope her wrist heals quickly and that some good things will come her way. Sounds like she is ready for a vacation! Sending her many hugs and positive vibes.

Oh no, that poor little girl.
Hopefully something awesome is coming down the line soon for her.

Thank you all for your prayers. She has some sad moments, and she keeps going. Unfortunately this morning a truck rear ended her car (which is originally from her sister stationed in Japan). There isn't much damage to the car, but she told us her wrist is fractured again. Poor baby, she gets the wrong type of breaks!
It may be too much to hope the other driver had insurance.

Vanessa, how is your daughters wrist? How is she holding up? I hope in the last couple months she has gotten better. Sending her many hugs.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Oh, poor dear! It is so heartbreaking whenever a fur baby is lost. To have all the other hard things to happen is awful on top of it. I have had years like that.

Things will look up, though broken hearts take time to heal. Give her a big farmgirl hug.

Thank you April. She is getting by, the sadness hits her every now and then. She has my son and my sister-in-law's family near.

Praying for your daughter Vanessa. For healing physically and her heart as she misses her fur baby.
It hurts so much when we lose them. Glad to hear things are getting better.

Thank you all, your prayers really help. Carol is doing better, is back at work and has resumed dog sitting through Rover.com. as a single person, she needs a pet to welcome her home and add life to her home. We reassure her that we will never forget Chandler. I've had so many dogs through the years, if dogs meet us in Heaven I'll have a pack!

I am so sorry to hear this. I'm praying for your daughter. I can't imagine how awful that was for her. It never helps when several things happen so close together. God still hears her prayers, though and is sending her His great love.

I am so very sorry. All I can say is that it will get better with time. But time is no help now. The death of a beloved animal hurts almost as much as a person. And I know that wrist is hurting. My favorite little car---Honda Fit---is gone and I so miss it. God bless you---and God will wipe away your tears, We learn and gr0w through our hardships and I am becoming a new strong person. Not happy---but contented, Time heals all pain and God will bless you again and keep you strong.
