I would like to put two small hinges on the back side so it will open and close. I want a wavy line that will look nice. I tried to search the internet, I could find examples but no directions besides use a fine saw.
Thank you,

Posted - Jul 14 2018 : 5:21:03 PM Hello,
My problem is not the cutting it is the drawing of the wavy line that would be even and not look too bunchy and meet after it went around the gourd. I have a jig saw with a fine blade that cuts nicely. I have practiced on another gourd to find the right blade.

Posted - Jul 13 2018 : 7:33:59 PM Would a dremel tool, spiral saw or router work? You could draw a curvy line and cut it with the rotating bit. A wire saw might work too if you want to cut both sides with the same contour.
