We had a couple up close visitors yesterday while I was at my moms house! One of the little squirrels even walked up to the glass door and was looking at my moms dog face to face. He ran off as I snapped the picture. They are the cutest things to watch. They even chase each other and play.

Grace, they definitely know how to sneak food! I even love watching them eat their food. Their tiny hands hold thier food so adorable like.

Barbara, if my mom's dogs were outside they would chase them too. Luckily they are fine watching them as long as they are inside!

I would love to feed the squirrels like this, but my dogs run them away. My two little terriers tree every one they see. I am content to watch them in the trees before I let the dogs out. You are right---they are so cute and funny.

Winnie, that is interesting. You'll have to catch a picture of yours so I can see one! I bet they are just as adorable! Maybe it has something to do with the different climates.

Dianna, that's what my mom says. Their home is actually on the side of my parents house. I'm curious to see how long they stay.

Too adorable Krista! I love watching ours. I'm used to them in the feeders now. Just accepted them as a welcome addition to our critter family and they get their own nuts now!

Krista, your squirrels look quite different from ours here in Florida. The squirrels here have a white underside and their fur on the top is a mixture of grey, brown, and sort of a fox red. It is interesting how the same critter can look so different in another state, don't you think? Thanks for posting the photo!!
