Here is what I am currently using for 'shin gaurds' around the hitch of my trailers...
In the past I have used vtg. ironing boards, window shutters and a saddle on a rack...

I am going to repaint this fire screen from brown to red... so it will pop out more..

I bought this flamingo plant stand about 12 years ago back in Ventura, Calif., at the Flea Market.

So what do you use to protect your shine from the trailer hitch?

Thank you! AS my old college friend always said " you're a little touched in the head". She lived in a holler and moved to Florida. I always thought I was superior to Holler people. Now I live in a holler and she died four years ago--so sad. To be alive in a holler or to be dead in Florida---that is the question---which is better?

Nothing repels dogs Grace. They have ran around and already peed on my newly stained decks. I give up. pee and poop seems to be my life. I am just about ready to ride my four wheeler up to feed the orphan fawn and try to make it poop and pee. I would feel bad about myself except our vet told us this was one of her favorite places to come and that she got dirty as soon as she put her clothes on. Ditto. She said her animals are her family---mine too. A little dirt wont hurt. And my old 90 year old friend said that we all have to eat a bucket of dirt before we die. I feel like I have ate 5 or 6 buckets---I can never get a germ because dirt protects us. LOL--and actually I am pretty clean---just overworked.

HG56,, I grate 'Irish Spring" soap and make lil sachets of Irish spring and hang under my trailer, in the cabinets and around the corners of the outside of my trailer to keep the deer away.. I wonder if it would repel dogs from tinkleing on the tires..

These look great Grace---very clever. Since I don't have a camper all I can tell you is that my husband sets big plastic buckets by our UTV wheels to keep the dogs from peeing on them. Farm life and animals do get tedious. LOL
