08/12/18: The fires continue to rage in the West and there is so much loss, so much devastation! The drought conditions are severe!

07/29/18: We had relief from fires with rain and a bit of a break. However it's been very hot lately and we have two new fires about 20 miles from our house. We can smell the smoke tonight!
AND, as you know California, Idaho and Oregon . . . probably other areas are burning up!
PRAYERS, PRAYERS, PRAYERS FOR RELIEF and RAIN and for those working on these fires!

06/29/18: The fires had some relief but have flared again and there are more REALLY AWFUL fires in Colorado as well as other southwest states. It's been very hot too!

I live in the southwest corner of Colorado where we are having TERRIBLE wildfires! Near Durango and in the mountains I can see out my windows. It's a very scary situation! We had a VERY, VERY DRY winter and things are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fragile.
PLEASE PRAY for RAIN and RELIEF from these fires! For safety for people, firefighters and other personnel.
Our Forest of 1.8 million acres is CLOSED! NO ENTRY ALLOWED! So, that makes a huge impact on summer activities and economics for cities and folks in the area.

THANK YOU ALL! It's a VERY SCARY and SERIOUS situation so many western/southwestern states are facing as is British Columbia (one of my sisters and her family live in B.C.)
Because of water shortage and serious drought situation and need to conserve, our irrigation water (many other users) was shut off today. This is almost TWO MONTHS EARLIER than usual. This will REALLY impact crops and harvesting.

Oh CJ, my heart is hurting so much for all of you affected! I've been paying morning and night! We've had do much rain I wish I could send it your way. My son sent me pictures of how heavy the smoke is getting where he lives. Please stay safe and please know you and everyone affected are in my prayers!!!

Still praying about your fires. It rains everyday here in WV and my husband fusses but I said what if our whole woods were burning around us---how much better to be wet. I sank up to my ankles when I went out to pick cucumbers yesterday. This all makes no sense---horribly wet or horribly dry. Praying for some rain out west. It is so scary and I am so very sorry.

CeeJay, I am worried about everyone out West that is facing what you have been facing this Summer. It has been devastating to many families and fires continue!!! I was up in Redding on Weds and Thursday where the Carr fire was , so sad to see all the burned trees and land and melted vehicles, that was just from the main road on the way home. Sad! I was up there for a doctors appointment, upcoming surgery soon.
Otherwise I wouldn’t have been there.
Luckily It wasn’t that smoky,

Please hold the firefighters and rescue personnel in the palm of Your hand.

I am asking for prayers tomorrow and Thursday, I will be going up to Redding for a doctors appointment about my knee and will be traveling through that country up there where the fires went through,

I have been praying every day that all of our Farmgirls, who ar facing terrible fires will be safe. It has been a terrible Summer of persistent high heat and droughts. I hope the weather patterns change quickly to spare more loss and deaths. Keep us posted CeeJay on how it continues in your area.

Praying for all the flooding and other weather incident going on around the world and the people dealing with the fires in Greece, they don’t have very safe places to go.

We are praying for rain and safety for all those who are dealing with fires and flooding around the world.
Florida hasn't been hit this year with many fires due to all the rain we are getting. I dread a hurricane could cause much flooding.

It hasn’t bEen good out here, we had s brush fire out by the ocean, thank God we have a wonderful volunteer Fire department.

Praying for relief and hoping California and the areas where wildfires are get much needed rain. This is such a bad wildfire season.

Those fires are truly awful. I have been praying for rain. It makes me feel rather guilty because we are having a cool rainy summer here. A lot of people don't like the rain---but I love it and feel blessed to have it. I so wish it would rain like this in the west. God bless you.
