Loving Christmas like I do, I saw a button card with just ribbon that could be used for an ornament. Being crafty farmgirls, I thought we could do the same thing, but dress it up a bit..
PARTNERS:

You will use a button card (including the buttons) and create a Christmas ornament. If you can find a vintage button card with buttons that would be great, but if not a newer one will work. Think sparkly buttons, maybe not black or brown, but glue lace or bling to the card to dress it up, maybe cover the back with Christmas paper...then make a pretty bow to slip thru the hole at the top of the card to use as a tree hanger.....

Beth, you always have the latest swap ideas. I will watch for more of your swaps in the future. You have a wonderful summer as well. Ours is hot, like the desert hot! Only bearable to be out doors in the early am...before nine o'clock.

Marilyn,
Thank you so much for those pretty button card ornaments. I love how you made them to
look like packages on both sides and the vintage Christmas yo yo's are so sweet and I love
the little clothespin with a candy cane on it. You also decorated the mailing envelope so nicely
and loved the little picture of Christmas cookies you put on it. Can't wait to decorate my MJF
Christmas tree in December with your ornaments.

Darlene, next time I'm at the local thrift store I will look to see if they have any vintage
button cards. I think everyone's ornaments have turned out so nicely. Brenda's and Connie's
are so pretty.

Brenda! Oh My goodness! Your Button ornaments are so beautiful!! I cannot wait! to put them on my Vintage Christmas tree! I always have a 3 foot live tree in my Dinning room with just Vintage and farmgirl art!  
And then I got to the bottom of the box and I squealed so loud, I scared Lily June! LOL! She said, Ganny What is it! Oh My beloved Sheep!! I was not expecting that! Oh I love your sheep so much. I have seen some here and there, but none well made and cute like yours!! Oh! Thank you! so much. Your whole box just made my day!

Thanks Beth. From 168/92 on Monday at 11:00,am down to 115/65 this morning. I'm drinking beet juice, etc. For years I lived with low bp. Now it is unpredictable. I was distressed Monday morning because I traveled into the big city to see my oncologist, arrived at 9:10am...a brand new facility...found the right entrance, etc. But at 10:15 they had not called me to draw my blood for the CA 125 test. (It was only 4.9, yea!) Since my appointment with my doctor was at 10:30, I was getting nervous.
My friend who was with me said they were just keeping us in order...wrong! Anyway they got it done, but I had to wait an extra time slot to see my heros...Dr. Hancock and Nurse Buffy.

Sorry I'm a bit slow, my blood pressure is doing it's thing...low to high...back to normal! Oh well...My "button" ornaments are finished and will go to the post office later today or in the morning. So hopefully you will get them by Tuesday.

Darlene, love your vintage elf button card ornament. I could not find any vintage button
cards. My mom had a large tin with vintage buttons that she gave to me years ago but
nothing on cards. You were so lucky to come across one like you did.
