Any tips on how to care for succulents? I love the things and I always end up killing them. I want to try them one last season. I have several jade plants and they thrive---but other kinds seem to be hard to grow.

I put them outside in the summer and bring them in for the winter. I think you are right about afternoon shade---I sun burned some of my jade plants last year.

Barbara, glad you found this forum. I have a question. Do you grow them inside or out?

I had a jade years ago that I took outside for the warm months. It had afternoon shade. Here in Texas afternoon shade is important for most plants.

Looking forward to hearing from my fellow gardeners.
