Posted - Mar 17 2018 : 5:37:44 PM Hi Farmgirls,
I’d love your advice. I cant wait to open up our little 1966 Nomad, 16” Glamper. It’s so cute! We have her all fixed up, but I could use some ideas for the bathroom.
There’s no sink, just a newish, fairly ugly white toilet. I pulled up the floor to the original floor, kinda plain in a beige. Found a pretty, smallish pink rug to put in when we open her. The walls are original, kind of a patterned beigy color. There’s a tiny, tiny window.
No sink or shelving. There once was a shower, not sure when/if we will reinstall that.
It just needs “pizazz” somehow. I’m wracking my brain and not sure what to do.
Any ideas? I know my farmgirl friends are the most creative, inspiring ladies!

Posted - Apr 23 2018 : 06:44:49 AM Grace - YES! Good eye! That is a very special apron. It was a gift from MaryJane and Meg when I was a FGOTM, in 2013 after Sandy Hook. It brightened my spirits and is so cute with all the campers. It was the first thing I put in Gidget!!

Posted - Apr 18 2018 : 06:01:21 AM Love the advice. I did talk to a lady through Etsy and decided decals might not hold on the textured toilet. Soooo... I went with throwback fluff! My mom ALWAYS had a fluffy toilet cover on her toilet, still does. She buys fresh ones from time to time. So, I went with that.
Best part was the cover was on clearance for $3! Giggle, Snort! Voila:
I also painted the area around the toilet to blend in with the floor.

Posted - Apr 03 2018 : 1:11:23 PM Hi Girls! Love that!
Ours actually has a toilet. It was just an ugly room (how pretty are toilets, really)?
Fixed ours up a bit. Do you think a decal like a cute flamingo on the toilet lid would be cute or too much?

Posted - Mar 24 2018 : 12:44:37 PM remember,, it's "1-scoop per poop"... lol! and you can use regular kitty litter, stove pellets or saw dust/fine wood shavings in your potty.
I know this is an odd subject,,, but let's face it.. it's the one thing we all have in common,,, "when ya gotta go,,, ya gotta go!... lolol!

Posted - Mar 24 2018 : 12:24:25 PM Hey Nicole,,, My Scotty and my Viking do not have 'potties'.. but the Aristocrat has a 'potty closet'.. with a removable portable camping potty. and no sink in the closet., But I am ok with that.. I just double bag the potty and use either kitty litter or those adult type diapers.. at the bottom of the bag. Some of my gal~pals use a 5-gal bucket that they decorate (think ottoman) and they buy the 'lid' at Cabeles,,, the lid has a t.p. holder, a sitting lid and a closeure lid (think 3-n-1)... and they work perfect. just dbl baggie the bucket, snap on the lid.. and tada,, easy peasy if you pleasy... lol! No having to hook-up at dump stations to evac the black tank... just tie up the baggis... walk over to the outhouse, dump and then toss the bag in the trash. oh and fyi,,, you could use the baggie method w/the diaper,, in your trailer potty if you don't want to have to worry about going to the dump station. We did that with our Silver Streak while traveling from WA to CA so we didn't have to deal with looking for dump stations...
