katmom	Posted - Jan 15 2018 : 7:37:42 PM My daughter & son-in-law are totally devoted to family activities and quality family time... so their idea of fun in the sun in the dead of Winter??? Snow shoeing... (I'll watch from the window with a cup of hot java, thank you very much!) So yesterday, rather then sledding on their property,,, they snow shoed over to the neighbors... that's my kiddos,,, braving the cold... lol! This photo is from a while back... but we are out there a lot,, and it's not unusual to see us on a flattened out large cardboard box slidding down the driveway... several weeks ago,, I tried my granddaughter's snow board... nndairy	Posted - Jan 17 2018 : 07:33:00 AM We had to run to town yesterday and as we passed the reservoir I was jealous of the little kids. They were having a blast sledding down the hill (unfortunately it's pretty flat around here so there are not many places to go sledding). But, the best part was - someone brought a ramp. As we passed a kid took off down the hill and hubby slowed way down so we could watch. Sure enough up the kid went (not very high) and there went the sled without him LOL!!! I asked hubby if he thought they'd let me take a turn. He just laughed, but I was being serious. It looked like so much fun.
