Happy new year everyone!

I'm so excited to have received Mary Jane's new cast iron cookbook for Christmas! I've already made the bread and scones. I absolutely LOVE this book. Its so beautiful, as all her books are. I forgot to take a pic of the scones...they were so delicious!!

Thank you once again Mary Jane for sharing your gifts with all of us I'll be buying a copy for my best friend.

p.s. the giant cinnamon roll looks dangerous! LOL

Connie, your bread looks delicious!! I totally agree with you that MaryJane's new Cast Iron Cookbook is fabulous. Yesterday, I made her buttermilk biscuits recipe again to go with a pot of hot soup for lunch. When they come out of the oven all brown and hot, they just melt in my mouth! YUMMY!!! I am looking forward to the arrival of her new bread book. Meanwhile, I plan on making the white bread recipe in the cast iron book as it looks easy and delicious. We are having some cold weather here in Florida, so I am making lots of those hot soups and stews which pair perfectly with some sort of hot bread.
