Do any of you girls make this jam? I would love to try some. I read it's a very invasive plant and people like to harvest as much as possible to keep birds from spreading it. Maybe you have something on your want list that we can barter for.

Hi girls
Sorry life is getting the best of me lately. Nicole yes it is very invasive. I debate planting it. Between deer and huge pill bug problems most invasives do not survive in my yard. Do you have deer that eat it? I am starting to dabble in permaculture so it does interest me in possibly planting.

I hadn't heard of it either and googled it. Wow. Now, I wish I had some of that noxious stuff. The story of how it was planted in the 60's and 70's as fast growing to recover land was interesting. That is how we found Acacia berries in our city. Those trees were planted along some of our park trails.

I have autumn olive all over my property. It is listed as invasive, but I never heard that it was edible?
