I have found that soups with kale in them are actually better after they have been frozen. Kale is kinda tough. After freezing, the toughness is gone, but the yumminess is still there.

I'm with everyone here. I freeze almost any soup without whole potatoes or pasta. I've had great success creamed potatoes in my soups. Good luck. Having soup on hand is an awesome time-saver.

Kneffla, taco, chicken dumpling and hamburger soups all freeze well.

Krista, smashed and cream potatoes freeze well so your blended potato cheese soup should do great.

This year I was planning on freezing a batch of cheesy potato soup. This will be my first frozen soup so I'm not sure how great it will be. The recipe does say it's freezable. The potatos are blended so I think that will make a big difference. Or is it potatos in general, Sara?

I like to freeze soups cooked in the crock pot. We love a pork vegetable one. I don't include potatoes in them, as Sara says.

I freeze chicken taco; split pea; and veg soup without potatoes. I don't like the texture of frozen potatoes in soup or stew.
