Posted - Aug 28 2017 : 5:50:59 PM Hello fellow sisters! My name is JaCey. My best friend and I decided about a year ago that we wanted to get back to the land. Mind you we are both 19 and have been raised in a rural area Idaho. We both come from a agricultural background, yet we found our lives lacking. When asked what we wanted to do with our lives we both jumped at the chance to get back to the basics. So the idea of our little homestead began to take root. And since that little seedling was planted boy has it grown. While we don't yet have our land purchased we are still building our homestead know how. We plan on 2 years till the big purchase! Hailey, my partner in crime, has taken up spinning her own wool. She says one day she will show me the ropes. While I am currently going to College in Seattle for Culinary Arts, I am building my recipe library and business knowledge. I plan on starting to can food this fall. Well that's all for now, -JaCey

Posted - Sep 01 2017 : 2:21:33 PM Congratulations on making great plans! I always knew I was going to live in the country! Fortunately, when I found my husband, one of the first things he told me was, he would live in a tent in the country, before living in town! It was been an amazing life! Keep us updated.
