When I was in Houston last April, I was amazed at the amount of stray/dumped dogs roaming around EVERYWHERE. I have had these animals on my mind as well. I hope many of the beloved pets (not strays) are not adopted out before they can be reunited with their owners. I would be devastated. Anyway, both of my rescues were "dumped", in Texas. I don't know why there are so many strays.

Bless their hearts. Great photo.

What can someone like me do for the TX pets??
We donate to Matthew 25 Ministries, as they do an excellent job with human needs, but, my friend from TX texted me this AM and said "What can we do for the animals, any ideas???"

They are definitely angels in my eyes. Animals need just as much support as us in tragedies like this. What wonderful people.
