Thought I'd share some pics of some of my summer flowers.
These are all past their time, but I do expect the snapdragons will bloom again . . . they usually do.

Red Hot Pokers in front of aspen trees (quakies) with peonies in the background. I dug a start of red hot pokers from my mom's many years ago. They've done well for over 20 years. My mom has been gone since February 1994

Snapdragons growing along the edge of our deck. They usually bloom more than once in the season.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful flowers, CJ! I love lavendars, we have two hills of them in our back yard, maybe 50 plants or so which are about 11-12 years old. I love how they attract bees during the summer and all the little finchies come fall.

Truly BEE-utiful CJ!!! I adore peonies but we can not grow them here. the same with lavender which is my favorite! Just love your flowers! We are in the REALLY HOT and HUMID season so not much is surviving the heat! However I did plant my punkins and reseeded my zinnias as they will give me another display of beauty just before late fall! :)

The day lilies are done, daisies about done. BUT, my snapdragons are on their second bloom.

This is my lavender plant which has lots of fragrant buds!

Thanks girls! I love them all. Right now what's in bloom are my white Shasta daisies. The snapdragons will bloom again. I have a nice variety of flowers so that they don't all bloom at the same time. My Russian sage bushes are started to put out their purple flowers and my lavender is purple . . . gotta harvest some of that!
