Yesterday I sent a text message from my cell phone to my hubby's brother and his wife, same message to their individual phones . . or so I thought.

They had just visited here and we went to see our son and his housemates and caregiver. She served us homemade cherry pie (YUMMY) ala mode. That was a week ago this past Sunday.

This past Sunday my hubby and I visited again and she had a homemade blueberry pie. So part of my text was to tell them that she served us blueberry pie the Sunday after the cherry pie.

Well, I got a response from what I thought was my brother-in-law's phone, but it didn't have his name and the message was "Who is this?" I checked the number and realized that I had switched 2 numbers and sent to the wrong number, so I sent a message explaining I sent to wrong number and apologized.

The person responded back with this message, "It's okay! Enjoy your pie . . lol".

That made me smile! I'm glad for a gracious . . . and humorous. . . response.

Texts to the wrong people can be quite entertaining. I've had several fun conversations due to someone texting me by accident.

It's nice when folks don't get all upset. However, you never know and with so many scammers out there it's hard to know how to respond sometimes!
Glad we can get a smile/laugh sometimes!

My daughter got an unknown text a few days ago and she decided to mess with him. To his "hi, this is (whoever)", she wrote "It's done, but what do I do with the body?" It got funnier from there. He was terribly confused, but laughed when she explained it was a wrong number and she was just messing with him.

That's funny CJ. I have had a few of those before but none of them involved food. They are always looking for someone else. I think my number was used by many people before it reached me!

Someone did something similar to me once---don't remember it well, but they were sending a text that had to do with a pizza--I sent them one explaining I wasn't who they thought I was and that I hoped they enjoyed their pizza.....but I never did hear back. Guess that pizza was THAT good!!!
