ddmashayekhi	Posted - May 02 2017 : 05:57:38 AM Thanks to a quirky winter and spring, the lilacs here are already in full bloom. Sunday we went to Lilacia Park in Lombard, IL to see their collection of lilacs. This park has one of the world's largest varieties of lilacs. It is gorgeous and well worth the trip to see. The spring blooming bulbs are beautiful too and the buckeyes were starting to also open. I hope if you are in the area that you can make a trip there. ddmashayekhi	Posted - May 04 2017 : 04:51:20 AM I agree, we are quite lucky to be living close to this beautiful park dedicated to lilacs and spring blooming trees, plants, and flowers. The aroma from the lilacs has never been overpowering, the lilacs are spaced apart enough for them to grow and not overwhelm each other. The tulips were gorgeous and they put a lot of new varieties out. Amazing how many different types of lilacs and tulips there are. Hope everyone is having a beautiful spring!
