We made a visit to the family farm and couldn't help but let Tilton check out the baby calves! I have never seen him so excited! Looks like we have a little farmer on our hands!

Winnie- My husband was a 4-H member and talks about Tilton doing it all the time! I think he will be more excited then Tilton will be!

Krista, your little guy is definitely having a good time learning about those baby calves! Do I see a little 4-H member in the cards for 9 years from now when most kids are then allowed to show cows at the competitions?

MaryJane, your new babies are so adorable! And those names you chose are perfect. The little darlins!!!

Aww! MaryJane your new babies are simply adorable! Not sure what it is but I'm really drawn to Larkspur! Tilton would have so much fun playing with your new babies.

awwwwwwwwwwww....they are ALL adorable. I just love calves! Our dairy farmgirl, Heather, from here in Ohio has a couple of cuties posted too over on the 'Virtual Porch' under 'A Farm of My Own.' I told her she should make a 'Farmgirl' greeting card out of the one where the calf is snuffling a hen. It's like it's saying, "What In The World Is THAT?" hahaha

I've been on calf watch myself! We've had two calves in the past two weeks and another at 4:00 this morning, a May-Day baby. Their names are Larkspur, Lizzy, and MayBelle.

Here we have Larkspur playing.

And precious Lizzy.

Then there's sweet little MayBelle!

Lizzy and Larkspur have made fast friends around the farm.

He really enjoyed playing with them! Our Great Dane is just as tall, so he isn't afraid of large animals!

How cute! It looks like the baby calves are just as curious of Tilton as he is of them.
