Greetings: The NE is having crazy warm weather! It was 71 yesterday and 80 today with a weather advisory for tomorrow starting at 4pm....1-4 inches of a snow mix! A friend's dog had five ticks yesterday, so far no ticks at our house. Does anyone have suggestions in additional to apple cider vinegar?
Thanks,
Gae

You're lucky, Connie! I heard about the rain too. I have cousins in Nassau and Suffolk counties. I'd rather have had the rain.

I'm out on the north fork of long island, ny. we were supposed to get 18" of snow, luckily it was mostly sleet and rain. I hate snow.

Hi Jana! I'm doing well here! Kids have another snow day and my husband made it into work ok. My poor dog tried to jump over a mound of snow and couldn't make it. :( He then did his business and came RIGHT back in.

How are all the Farmgirls doing in the northeast? Has the snow/blizzard calmed down overnight?

sorry to hear about the harsh winter weather. I would love the recipe for the rice pudding in the crockpot. I guess one consolation is it is March and spring should be around the corner.

Farmgirl friends are fun.

Hi Nicole! I know where you are....about 45-60 minutes from me. As a matter of fact, do you know the Sheep Shoppe? I was there the other day! This storm is brutal. It's almost 10pm here and still snowing. I want spring already!

Still snowing but seems to be slowing down. About 18" so far. Snowed in for sure. Everything is closed and we are on blizzard watch until tonite. Everyone is asked to stay put and off the roads. No problem! LOL! Venison stew in one crockpot and Chili in the other. Rice pudding in another. Just in case the electric goes out and then I can heat on my gas stove. So far so good but they expect severe winds. That could be the problem. Hope everyone is ok throughout this storm.

We are too! I will not be going anywhere today! It finally turned from snow into a snow-rain mix, but it's still horrible outside. It's freezing, wet and dreary. I would really love a touch of sunshine right now.

hugs,
