I have the Prayer Shawl book and have used it many times over the years and made many for sick family and friends. Praying over the yarn and shawl as you make it is just a touching experiencento me. I always sent my prayer and pattern I used to whomever I made the Prayer Shawl so the ministry could continue.
I know whom ever gets the book will love it!

Hugs,
Deb

Joyce, when I first learned of this ministry I really just wanted too learn to crochet a shawl. I met with a monthly group of knitters/crocheted at my church. They were knitting shawls for cancer patients. (At this time they also do shawls for grieVing persons, those in rehab. There are so many people who can use the comfort of a shawl of their very own. Lionbrand yarn and Leisure Arts have put this together. When we reach our goal of the number of shawls they are blessed by the priest/minister and distributed. For excellent information go to www.lionbrand.com/shawlstories/html ....the book I am offering has directions, patterns, color choices, prayers, etc. I hope you will decide to try it, Joyce.
