Is any one out there like me? Every year I make one special ornament that represents something that happen in that year of our life. It could be a vacation, birth of our child or an anniversary. This year for us is our 25th (silver) wedding anniversary. I made a special ornament using a silver canning jar lid and a color copy picture of the place we were on our anniversary.

Janice, I love your ornament idea. It is very clever and easy plus it makes for such a sweet Christmas tree ornament to keep always. Just lovely!

I really love your idea. That's a fun way to remember special events in our lives and would be a good way to remember them each year as you hang them on the tree! This is something I will have to consider! Happy late 25th anniversary.

That's so sweet! Love it! We used to do this when the kids were younger.

I have one of those my son made for me one Christmas using a school photo of him. He glued lace around the edge. I will always cherish it. I like your idea of making one for different occasions. So simple but so precious.
