Hi Kem,
I know how you feel. I too have come a long way since I first got Lyme. I am still very limited on what I can eat. The Bemer treatments which put oxygen to the microcells is what is giving me a boost. My natural doctor is still detoxing me so I can not gain weight. I am holding at 116 pounds. She uses some paleo meal suppliments so I at least get more nutrients that way.

When I do the Bemer I get more energy for 24 hours but it is expensive so I can't do it daily yet. I am hoping to get the money to buy the in home unit which is $6800. Those using it that have Lyme are feeling totally normal again within 3 to 6 months. So, that is my goal to get my health back.

Oxygen kills any harmful bacteria not just Lyme so it works great on all the co-infections too.

It seems like most people with Lyme have some issues even after Lyme is on remission. I just want to be able to eat most foods and feel good most days.

I'm so glad to hear that your Lyme disease treatments kicked most of it! But, I know that it sometimes leaves a person's body seriously damaged. My brother, although officially Lyme-free for a few years, is still battling the after-effects of the infection. Hopefully, you'll both reach your peak health again- you deserve it after such a hard fight!

As far as food sensitivities, I've heard great things about fermented foods and bone broth. Although not together... :P

Thanks for all the replies. I have treated Lyme via both mainstream and natural docs. I am just always looking for other techniques and people with successful stories. I am so much better than I use to be, but need to knock the last 20%. I just get frustrated and my food allergies are very bad. I hear that until I can get the rest treated I will probably have to eat the way I do which is so frustrating. Oh well, at least I can function and do most everything everyone else can do.

Hi, Kem. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this!

When my brother had Lyme, he went to a doctor that used a combination of conventional and alternative medicine. His treatment was:

- 6 weeks of antibiotics (to ensure that even the Lyme bacteria hiding in biofilms is killed off)
- regular IVs of Vitamin C
- chelation treatment to remove heavy metals (he had lead and uranium) to make other treatments work better
- finally, a specialist gave him a treatment to reset his hypothalamus (I believe it was an injection, probably HCG, and a special diet)

As a natural alternative to antibiotics, you might try an Oil of Oregano supplement. Be careful- herbs can be very strong medicine! Oil of Oregano can thin the blood, lower blood sugar, and reduce iron absorption, so act accordingly. Don't ever take Oil of Oregano with Lithium, Aspirin, or cholesterol-lowering medications. Always start with a low dose and work up.

For natural chelation, you can try a cleansing supplement that contains N-acytelcysteine. I had good results with Solaray Total Cleanse- Liver. (Tip: Take it with orange juice and hold your nose- My brother and I found the smell to be overpoweringly vile!) As with other supplements, be careful! NAC slows blood clotting and may trigger asthma if you have it, so act accordingly! Don't take nitroglycerin with NAC, and don't take NAC soon after drinking alcohol. (I wouldn't take this at the same time as the Oregano, either.)

Also, please know that I'm not a doctor, nor do I have any medical training. For something as serious as Lyme, you may want to consult a doctor if you haven't already.

I'm sending you good thoughts for recovery! Lyme requires a hard fight; I hope you feel better soon!

Kem - I have never used it, however, Shoshanna at bulkherbstore.com treated and healed herself and her son of Lyme's. She even has an Herban Lyme Away Tea. You may want to look into that. Continuing to pray for your healing <3
