I was wondering if there are any other Farmgirl Sisters doing Trim Healthy Mama? Would love to hear your stories and thoughts... perhaps find support and encouragement for one another!?!?

I am trying to cook out of the cookbook right now... didn't care for the Green Omcake that I had this morning. The sloppy joe recipe was pretty good, but needed more spices/seasonings. Had the orange chicken over shredded cabbage tonight - it was pretty good.

I've been kind of sort of on plan since January this year. I followed pretty strictly for the first couple of months and lost 15 lbs. I was really pleased. But I found it hard to follow since my family was not a fan of the menus. Honestly I wasn't a fan of most of the cookbook recipes. I joined the FB groups but got overwhelmed. So I kind of follow the plan on my own - I'm so not a purist! LOL

I try to keep my fats/carbs separated in meals, but I don't sweat it too much. I take a more whole-foods approach. And I fudge the fat/carb numbers a bit. I'm still losing, but not as fast. But I also do way too many crossovers!! The peril of having picky eater kids and husband!
