Today I finished the binding, last step in the process of completing my brick pattern floral print quilt. I used a fabric my daughter in love purchased for me at a thrift store, and it has a garden theme so went well with the floral prints. The great thing is that it was nice quality fabric and had four yards and she paid $1.00 for all four yards. Wow is right. ![]()

Greetings! I have not been on-line in a while. Elder care is keeping me busy! Crazy weather this summer and now the rain in our location before the hurricane is nuts! Also, keep hearing we are in for loads of snow this winter! Trying to have some quilting projects lined up for snow days, my partner in quilting crime for this winter idea is Debbie, 2018 Farmgirl Sister Of The Year! We both LOVE Kim Diehl! Any other quilter Farmgirls Kim followers? Several years back Kim was a guest at my Guild. It was so nice to meet her! I have most of her books and would be happy to share patterns. I was unaware that Kim had BOM and individual patterns. Debbie and I are trying to locate the following patterns: Geese On The Meadow, Journeys End BOM, Handful of Stars, Big & Chunky Woven Stars. Also through Henry Glass, but not a Kim pattern, Cotton Pottery. I only had time for one post yesterday and that landed in the stitching chat room. Many thanks,

Beautiful quilt, Katie, and the bargain factor on the fabric from the thrift store makes it extra cool! I would also like to see some close ups of the fabrics, if you get a chance.
