Sisters --- I have a pair of those famous suede U** boots that I wear around the house all winter as my slippers. Our weather can get really really cold, and having my legs warm is a huge help at keeping the rest of me feeling warm.

I have never worn them outside, but the uppers (the part that goes up my legs) are getting pretty dark and I would like to clean them so they are the nice light tan again.

I see that my local dry cleaners has a sign up that they clean them -- but it says it takes 3 months!!!! This seems absurd to me -- I would have to send them out now, and if it takes 3 months, they are obviously sending them away somewhere and who knows if I would get them back...etc.

Do any of you know of a way to clean them at home? They aren't raggedy and horrible -- they just need sprucing up.

So many brilliant ideas on here, I thought someone might have an idea.
