I hope I'm doing this right, lol! Just wanted to say hi to everyone here, and introduce myself as the new girl :) I'm Kendra, stay-at-home mom of four, homesteading on an acre of land out in the country. Chickens, milk goats, garden... you know the deal ;) Excited to meet some like-minded ladies! Thanks to Nini for inviting me here!

Welcome, Kendra! Being a farmgirl on an acre of land is absolutely possible! You go girl. I'm on one acre, too. In fact the name of my farm and business is One Acre Farm. I have squeezed as much as possible onto my little plot and have turned it into a business.... Of course, I sell stuff like eggs, but I also have weekly classes and workshops.

Have fun!!!

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

Hi Kendra, welcome from Arizona, am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 5. Live and work in central Phoenix. Wish I had more elbow room but make do with what I have. A large garden in the back yard. You will love the folks here at MJF. They are very welcoming and very supportive. Welcome and hugs from Phoenix.

Best wishes always

Remember… Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. Instead, you should slide in sideways, glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, in a body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming “Woohooo! What a ride!”

Hello Kendra and welcome to the farm!

I'm a mom of 4 and currently stay at home with the youngest while the others are at school. My husband and I have a small 3 acre farm and are homesteaders too! We have chickens, rabbits, lots of barn cats and 2 border collies. And it wouldn't be a farm without the huge garden too.

Hope you enjoy your time with us!

Annette:)

Hello Kendra, It is wonderful to meet you. So lovely to hear how proud you are of where you live. NC sounds beautiful. Many of us are transplanted Californians. It is always interesting to find out where someone grew up and then how they end up across the nation as an adult!!
