Such a cute craft!

I've used cereal boxes - and other similar thin cardboard food packaging - to make glitter shapes for adding to my paper crafted gift tags. I just trace the shapes, say stars, onto the cardboard, cut out - then cover with white glue and sprinkle with glitter. Tap it off and leave to dry and you have a beautiful little shape to be used as needed.

I like your idea too though - thinking of all my fabric scraps!!!

Thanks Kim! We love coming up with ways to use things that we typically throw out.

I was just looking through your blog this morning and almost fell out of my chair :) On your link for reusing old jeans, I have a lap blanket that looks almost identical to your last picture there! I finished piecing it years ago and finally decided to back it with some flannel and tie the quilt...just have to get that done! Anyway, that was my fun for the morning. I love your site.

I have more ideas coming....I'm determined to have more projects/gifts etc. completed before planting season.
